Welcome to Home Again located in the picturesque community of Naples bordered by Long Lake & Brandy Pond. Naples Causeway is only 4.5 miles. Shawnee Peak Ski Resort is 18 miles. The closest snow mobile trail is 2 miles with a large parking lot for vehicles & trailers. Portland is only a 30 mile drive where you will find many restaurants and lots of seaport history. Freeport is the home of L.L. Bean and is only 33 miles. Both are well worth the trip.
Brandy Pond is in the heart of the Lakes Region. Boats cannot launch from Brandy Pond, but there is a public boat launch in Raymond which is only 8 miles away. There are other boat launch sites, but they charge a fee. Boaters will need to navigate from Lake Sebago through the Songo Locks then down the Songo River into Brandy Pond which is an adventure. If you are not aware there is over 40+ miles of connected waterway (Long Lake, Brandy Pond, Songo River, and Lake Sebago). It is a boater's paradise.
Please note, my home is not lake front. I live only 300ft from the lake. I am on the 2nd row and look over the roofs of the lake front houses. You either have to drive to my dock(s) or walk. The first dock is 1/4 of a mile from my home with a flat entry & parking area. you must walk down 10 steps to get to the docks and there is no beach area. The water is not deep so it is good for kids to play in. The other dock is probably 400ft from my house. The access is steeper walk to get to the water with fewer steps down to the dock with no beach area. The water here is deeper, but there are many rocks.
There are a lot of amenities, so keep on reading.
My home is located 1/2 mile off of Songo School Road on a year round maintained dirt road.
PARKING: Your journey begins as you pull into a circular driveway with ample parking on a flat well lit lot. There is plenty of space for multiple vehicles and/or sports utility trailers.
PORCH: Gather on the porch for meals or just to relax after a day of fun activities. The large, covered porch has 3-4 steps with hand rails. There is an outside dining table with 4 swivel chairs and a high-top bistro table with 2 chairs.

A state of the art home monitoring security system protects you from unseen dangers such as propane leaks, smoke & fire, carbon monoxide, water leaks, and break-ins (no inside cameras). Central halls & both bathrooms have LED night lights. There is a first aid kit, a blood pressure monitor, flashlight/lantern combo, and a fire extinguisher in the hall closets.
KITCHEN: My kitchen is well-equipped with all new LG appliances. The refrigerator has French doors with an ice & water dispenser and the freezer is on the bottom. The electric stove has a convection oven to speed up cooking time. Above the stove/oven, there is a large built-in microwave. The kitchen comes with an 8-piece serving set of Corelle dinnerware with bowls, serving utensils and silverware. Basic spices, salt/pepper, canola oil, olive oil, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, and quart size plastic bags are provided. A full size dishwasher makes clean up easy.

I welcome my guests to leave me comments in the guest journal located on the peninsula with the many local area brochures.
My goal is to provide my guest with a worry free stay. Enjoy Home Again in Naples, Maine.
Naples is known as the jewel of the Sebago Lakes Region nestled between rolling hills. Naples Causeway is located only 3 miles from Home Again. Long Lake & Brandy Pond are divided by the causeway. On clear days, views of Mt. Washington in New Hampshire can be seen from the causeway.
Brandy Pond is 762 acres with a maximum depth of 44 feet and Long Lake is 5295 acres with a maximum depth of 59 feet. There are 42 continuous miles of waterway consisting of Brandy Pond, Long Lake, Songo River, & Lake Sebago. In the summer months, the historic Songo Locks allow boats to transverse from the higher altitude of Brandy Pond/Songo River down to Lake Sebago. The land-operated gate is the only remnant of the old lock system connecting Western Maine with the coast.
