Museum
“Fantastic and expansive indoor/outdoor museum in the middle of a beautiful desert valley. Views are incredible. The "Raptor free flight" is super cool - they have trained owls, hawks, falcons, etc. that they do a flight demonstration with - the birds swoop down right over your heads. The hummingbird house is also really cool. We were way more impressed than we had anticipated when we went for the first time. (great for kids)”

“Beautiful botanical gardens on the north side of town. Art galleries and shops offer local art and artisan gifts. Do not recommend the bistro - better quality & priced foods elsewhere, & no view to enjoy there. ”

“Stop in to see the history of the Tucson area and how Native American groups were influenced by missionaries, including the famous Father Kino, from the 1600s-1800s. The architecture is amazing with original buildings still standing. Junior Ranger program available through the National Parks program.”

“There are 2 visitor centers, one on the East side of town and the other on the West side. They are very different and I recommend visiting both for different vistas, and different mountain ranges plus the ride out to each area will take you thru different neighborhoods and areas of the city.”
