“This says Cross Country because that what the system entered....But here are directions:\\Drive North on Route 100 to Warren Plunkton Rd turn off on Right. Drive down about 1.5 miles until you see the lake on the right and the parking area. You will see the access point across from aprking area. You can look at trailhead map at This is a well marked and very reasonable and established trail system. Good for getting your feet wet and your legs ready for more challenging rides.”

“Surrounded by lush annual and perennial gardens, a series of ponds, and our certified organic vegetable gardens, the Round Barn Farm is one of the most extraordinary and romantic rustic Vermont venues. I love the pond with the beautiful white swans.”

“At 2 hours away, this isn’t someplace you can pop out for a swim, but it is one of my favorite places in Vermont, so I have to include it on a list of swimming holes. It’s a series of carved, cascading deep pools that are a magical emerald green color. Put this on your Vermont check list for sure. (Try to go on a weekday if you can.)”

“Like its namesake river, the Path connects you to the ecology and communities of the Mad River Valley. With sections throughout the Valley from Warren to Moretown, a walk, bike ride, or ski along the Path lets you travel through working forests and farms, stop into local shops and restaurants, catch a glimpse of Vermont history, pause for a swim, or encounter wildlife in their natural habitats.”
