“For panoramic vistas of San Anselmo & San Rafael, try our neighborhood hiking trail on the ridge overlooking Sun Valley! Walk there by heading right on 5th Ave past Andy's. The Sun Valley trailhead is just past the school, which is a block from the market. It's a vigorous switchback. Or the ridge is a 4 min drive from here. Take Solano past the Park, go left on K St. Make a right on Forbes, then take your next left on Elizabeth Way. Take Elizabeth up the hill & veer left at the top. Make a right on Ridgewood Dr. Take it until it ends at the trailhead. Park & walk in. Enjoy a 30-60 min walk. Be sure to climb the hill on the left for stunning panoramic vistas, about 15 mins in! ”

“Access to the Bay Area Ridge Trail for Views, views and views. Close proximity to the by-invitation-only Skywalker Ranch. If I have to explain what that is, you must be from another country, if not another galaxy. ”

“At the end our our block you can access these amazing hiking and biking trails. Pacheco Valle (519 acres), Ignacio Valley, Loma Verde, and Indian Valley preserves form a contiguous band of undisturbed open space encompassing virtually the entire northern slope of eastern Big Rock Ridge. The slopes are steep, the canyons deep, and first-time visitors never fail to marvel at the expanses of rugged chaparral and woodland found here. Most of the fire roads that run through these preserves follow ridgelines, and all of the access routes are strenuous, but the spectacular views and the sense of solitude make the climbing worthwhile.”
