My place is close to restaurants and dining, nightlife, public transport, and family-friendly activities. You’ll love my place because of the location, the people, the outdoors space, the neighborhood, and the ambiance. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), big groups, hunters, construction workers and furry friends (pets). Conveniently located 45 min from Bismarck and Minot on HWY 83.
Quite, good affordable stay. Very accommodating and made sure I had what I needed.
This place is good for staying if your working at GRE power plant. It's just down the road and has everything you need at a price for workers. Thanks for having this place setup.
The neighborhood seemed sketchy. As a woman traveling by myself, I did not feel safe in this lodge. Lana was no where to be found. A man is the one who helped me find my room. He was kind. However, I had trouble locking the room and the communal shower did not look clean.
The place is not a private home, but rather, is a creepy, ramshackle abandoned nursing home. If you believe in ghosts, don't stay here. I don't, and the place still felt haunted. No effort has been made to brighten up the place or remove any indication that the place used to be a nursing home. Staying here was a profoundly disturbing and depressing experience: the property is creepy, broken down, and entirely unrenovated. The lights are kept almost totally turned off at all times. I had to ask for both toilet paper and towels. A trashcan was never provided. Underwood is a full hour's drive north of Bismarck, and the main thing to recommend the community is Rusted Rail, a wonderful all-American restaurant, and Soda & Things, a delightful small store. Only stay here if you absolutely must. Underwood is a fine community with good people, and deserves better.
