Budimpešta – razgledavanje

Capitol Building
“It is a must see place in Budapest. The building is breathtaking both inside and outside, but if you travel just for a few days i would recommend just to take a walk there and enjoy the view and don't wait for hours to go in. Also a little tip: you can have an amazing view about the whole building from the Buda side (the other side of the Danube) or from boat cruises. The Hungarian Parliament Building (Hungarian: Országház, pronounced [ˈorsaːghaːz], which translates to House of the Country or House of the Nation), also known as the Parliament of Budapest after its location is the seat of the National Assembly of Hungary, a notable landmark of Hungary and a popular tourist destination in Budapest. Budapest was united from three cities in 1873, namely Buda, Óbuda, and Pest. Seven years later the Diet resolved to establish a new, representative parliament building, expressing the sovereignty of the nation.”

“Within a few minutes walk you can reach the Jewish Quarter and take a tour of Europe's largest synagogue. The synagogue offers guided tours in several languages and can be studied with the history of the place. The place combines both beauty and power. At evening/night you can stroll the nearby streets and enjoy the beauty. warmly recommended.”

“St. Stephen's Basilica is a Roman Catholic basilica in Budapest, Hungary. It is named in honor of Stephen, the first King of Hungary (c 975–1038). It was the sixth largest church building in Hungary before 1920. Since the renaming of the primatial see, it's the co-cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Esztergom-Budapest. Today, it is the third largest church building in present-day Hungary. The site of today's basilica was a theater in the 18th century. This theater, named Hetz-Theater, was a place where animal fights were hosted.”

“The Halászbástya Hungarian pronunciation: [ˈhɒlaːzbaːʃcɒ]or Fisherman's Bastion is a terrace in neo-Gothic and neo-Romanesque style situated on the Buda bank of the Danube, on the Castlehill in Budapest, around Matthias Church. The Buda side castle wall was protected by the fishermen's guild and this is the reason why it was called fishermen's Bastion.”

“Buda Castle (Hungarian: Budavári Palota, German: Burgpalast) is the historical castle and palace complex of the Hungarian kings in Budapest. It was first completed in 1265, but the massive Baroque palace today occupying most of the site was built between 1749 and 1769. The complex in the past was referred to as either the Royal Palace (Hungarian: Királyi-palota) or the Royal Castle (Hungarian: Királyi Vár, German: Königliche Burg). The castle now houses the Hungarian National Gallery and The Budapest History Museum.”

“St Stephen’s Basilica of Budapest is one of the most beautiful and significant churches and touristic attractions of the country. This is partly due to its historical heritage, of being dedicated to the holy king St Stephen who was also the founder of the Hungarian state, and partly to the architectural and artistic value of the building itself. ”

“If you want to get the best view from the whole city this is your spot. Well you need to climb the Gellért hill for that but it worth the effort. This is the highest point in the city, which allows you a spectacular view, an advised if you are walking from the bottom of the hill wear appropriate footwear it is a decent hike, but you can find some secret spots and small park areas with benches where you can take a rest if you fill like or just to take a few photos.”

“Heroes'Square Is the central square of Budapest, the capital of Hungary. It is a fusion of history, art and politics. The grandeur of the entire complex symbolizes the Hungarian people who have been ravaged by war, the nostalgia for historical heroes and their longing for a better future. Whenever a major festival or a foreign head of state visits, a grand ceremony is held at Heroes Square. 英雄广场(Heroes'Square)是匈牙利首都布达佩斯的中心广场,是一个融合了历史,艺术和政治的胜迹。整个建筑群壮丽宏伟,象征着几经战争浩劫的匈牙利人民,对历史英雄的怀念和对美好前途的向往。每当重大节日或外国元首来访时,都要在英雄广场举行盛大的仪式。”
