“Arbroath Abbey is most famous for its involvement in the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Although mostly ruins, a visitor centre has been built with a viewing gallery and impressive display. There is a model of what it is thought the Abbey looked like originally and films are shown. You can relax after your walk of the grounds in their café or visit the shop.”
