We create real food using traditional artisanal methods, baked fresh daily, on-site, in our open kitchen using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. The hand forged viennoiserie, patisserie, cakes, eclairs, tarts, cookies, savouries, soups and gourmet sandwiches crafted by our passionate team are worth the trip. We love our coffee! Our baristas craft the finest range of espresso based coffee drinks using organic beans roasted locally by Republica Coffee Roasters.”

“In Fort Langley Formally known as the IGA, Lee’s Market is a family owned grocery store in Fort Langley, BC, Canada. The Lee family bought the store in 1975 and have been serving the community ever since. The market has gone through several name changes over the decades, including Tommy’s Market, Lucky Dollar, Link’s Hardware and IGA, and the Fort Supply Company. The Fort Supply Co. was the official name in 1975 when the Lee family became the new (and present) owners. For the Lee family it was a long road, or rather, it was a long ocean to travel before finally finding their home in this community. Like their father who had made his way to Fiji from China during the 1940’s, to find a better home and better life to make for his wife and future children; so would Johnny, the oldest son, make his way from Fiji to Canada to find a better home and better life for his brothers, sister and mother. By 1972 the remaining family members had managed to immigrate to Canada and after a few years and various jobs, they found a place for the family to start a business, to thrive and to grow. Although the family business has expanded to encompass the Walnut Grove and Langley City IGA Market Place franchises; Peter, Robert, Margaret, Chang, Lum, Linda, Judy and Charlie and all the familiar faces (and new ones, too!) we have seen for years working at the IGA in Fort Langley are a welcoming place in the community. Charlie has since gone to Walnut Grove. His father, Johnny is still fondly remembered as the happy-go-lucky P.R. guy of the Lee family.”

“In Fort Langley Named after the word for house/a place to gather, this beautiful arts & cultural café is designed to honour and reflect tradition and culture. Stop by for a visit and experience great local food in a relaxed environment right on the riverfront in historic Fort Langley. Inspired by the temperate rain forests of the Pacific, our cafe by the river features a bright, airy layout and generous use of cedar. We are proud to be First Nations owned, with our menu incorporating some of the traditional flavors of a Coast Salish diet. Whether it's breakfast, fresh baked goods, sandwiches or charcuterie, everything is made to order from scratch, with many ingredients sourced locally.”

“In Fort Langley Giulia is an Interior Designer specializing in residential projects who has a passion for cooking, and a love for keeping Traditional Family Recipes alive. Giulia’s parents come from a small village in the South of Italy, called Figline, Calabria. Her relatives still own the bakery with the wood burning ovens that supply the bread daily in Calabria. She was raised with all the wonderful traditions her parents were brought up with. Every season, holiday and occasion had its own special recipes. At certain times of the year it was customary to make tomato sauce in batches of 100s, harvesting mushrooms by the bushels and bread-making which the whole family was expected to take part in. Giulia is all about Italian tradition. Mangia e Scappa is a definite stop to place your orders for authentic, homemade breads, pizzas, lasagnas and many other tasty dishes! Our goal is to help families with busy lifestyles, enjoy healthy, fresh, Italian food.”
