“located at the end of the Agadir beach promanade, this is a nice place to walk through with loads of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Although personally these cafes and restaurants are over priced when compared with those just outside the Marina for the exact same thing. The Marina with its yachts and even a pirate ship are nice to look at, especially on a day with blue skies and sun. Here you will also find recognizable high street stores such as Zara, Aldo, Stradivarius, Parfois, MAC cosmetics and the like. ”

“A large open-air living museum that combines architecture, history, and ethnology, La Medina d’Agadir is a grand reconstruction of the city’s old medina. Developed on private land by a Moroccan-Italian, it offers a wonderful peek into the Agadir of old. Craftspeople make traditional items in workshops throughout the glorious medina, and there are shops, restaurants, and cafes to make the scene even more realistic. Almost like a city within a city, La Medina d’Agadir is one of the most popular attractions in Agadir.”

Zoo Exhibit
“The Valley of Birds is a 2.5-hectare animal park in the center of Agadir, where rare birds from South America and Asia meet, and mammals such as the mountain sheep and the maggot monkeys. This garden is planted with many species, such as magnolias, banana trees, bougainvilleas, oleanders, ... around a refreshing waterfall. A nice idea for a family walk. Made in Agadir Council: There are two entrances, one located on the boulevard of August 20 which is often crowded by the public and one on Hassan II Avenue, much easier to access. Entry: 5 dh schedule Open Monday to Saturday from 9:30 to 12:30 and from 14:30 to 18:30.”
