This is the first time we had such a horrible experience on this website. First Susie was very happy with our house and even wrote to say that she loved it. But then since they used the A/C with the doors opened in order to enjoy a cold house 24/24, the electricity crashed. They decided to leave the house earlier than what was planned and left the house OPENED with no one inside without even saying good bye. The house was messy and dirty like I've never seen that before. One of the toilets was covered with pee, there was some dirty toilet papers on the floor, they left dirty laundry on the floor, the house and the beds were covered with sand, they broke my son's baby bottle and took another one with them, there are stains everywhere on the couches...
1) The electricity does not work:
since they left, everything is working just fine. We are currently hosting 8 people and had NO trouble.
2) there were bugs on the property
yes, we are on a tropical island... we are doing our best to prevent them from entering the house but it happens. And letting watermelon on the floor without cleaning it, just like you did, clearly not helps preventing them from coming.
3)The kitchen was not very clean and lacked basic appliances and foodstuff:
none of our previous guests ever complained about that and we would have been delighted to go and buy anything that was lacking if you had just asked us.
4)The location is not good--not close to good beaches or even a nice town:
Le Moule is not a nice town?? According to whom and what?? Since you only spent ONE DAY in our house I don't really understand how you can judge the neighborhood...
5)The hosts live on the property / they show up a lot:
Yes, we do. It is written on this website; we never tried to hide anything. We showed up a lot? You mean, when we had to come and put the electricity back on because you made it crash on the first place... or when you asked us for some recommendations on what to visit or where to eat... sorry, we were trying to be helpful... and polite.
6)We will never use this site again:
Maybe because you opened a case against us and lost it. Airbnb understood that you didn't respect the house... and you clearly didn't.
