I have been an Airbnb host since may 2013, and it brings me the finest experienses and joy. I rent out from late april to late september. I can share it with guests, who want to combine a stay in central Copenhagen with the peaceful charm of this particular neighbourhood.
The flat is 92 m2 and your privacy will be guaranteed in 2 en suite living rooms. I provide single bed and a double guest bed. Linnen and towels included. There´s a desk and a tv in one room, a dinnertable and a cable in the other. The bathroom is next, with a nice shower, then there´s my room and a large, modern kitchen with washing and dishing gear. All facilities shared in good spirit and common sense. From the kitchen you can step out at the balcony and at the top of the house there´s a splendid terrace with tables, chairs, barbecue and Copenhagen rooftop views.
Add a nice green yard with shared tables and benches etc.
You are in Østerbro, a very quiet area, with streets both wide and narrow, some of them bricked, nice buildings and parks, shopping and eating for any wallet.
You can walk to Langelinje, the little mermaid and the daily cruisers (20 min) or you can borrow a bicycle if you want.
5 minutes walk from here, you find the beautiful and peaceful lakes, follow them to hip and lively, multicultural Nørrebro ( 15 min) and Vesterbro (40 min). Bicycles, jogging, cafes, fresh air, people.
Busses can be found within 100 m, 10 min to the old town, or go north 10 min to little beach at Svanemøllen havn.
Easy access to Kastrup airport.
3 stops to Central St.
After working hours I can meet you at arrival at Østerport St., a nice 15 min walk from my place, or 2 min by bus.
I will be happy to share what I know about my wonderful city and its surroundings.
There is a bicycle waiting for you, and if you need, you can easily rent one or to more.
My biggest passion and interest are people - and their conditions, options and rights. I've been working in the social psychiatry for more than 25 years - it is meaningful and giving for me.
I'm active in the cooperative, where I live, and I like the activities, and good relations it brings. It makes sense to me, to have contact with young people, as well as older.
I love the "Copenhagen life style" - meet up with friends for brunch in the city, nice walks in the pretty streets, and I often go to the movies/theathre with friends. I really enjoy living exactly where I do, because here's nice, pretty and the balance between lively and quiet is perfect for me.
We have the lakes, trees and atmospheric streets and areas, and I can ride my bike to all the places I need to go.
I see my self as a bright, calm and conscientious person, who's good at making the best of what I got, and of the togetherness with others.
