My duplex doesnt face the fjord; it does face a lovely rock wall which in the summer makes for a natural "fenced" garden with plenty of sun in the morning for you to sit outside and enjoy a cup of coffee, and downtown Nuuk is only a 10min walk away!
70m2 Duplex from the 1950's but totally renovated in 2012. Perfect size for a couple, but can accommodate up to 4 people.
Living room holds a sleeping sofa (for 2) and 32' flatscreen TV, DVD player (and plenty of DVD's to choose from) and docking station (suitable for apple products, both old and new).
The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, induction stove, electrical tea kettel and several other kitchen appliances (no microwave oven and coffee machine). Feel at home and use the extensive spice rack which includes locally picked herbs.
The bathroom is equipped with a washing machine and a tumble dryer as well as other amenities expected to find in a bathroom, eg. toilet, sink and shower ;-)
On the first floor you will find the bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed and cupboard space cleared for you :-) also you will find my work/hobby room on the first floor, this is where i work (when I'm not at my office) and where you can actually get a pretty good view of the fjord; there's an old desk and chair where you can put up your laptop and get some work done and there's also an Ikea chair bed (if you want to fit an extra person in or just want a nap).
All of the house is accessible for you during your stay, however I do kindly ask that you do not try on my clothes and makeup ;-) further instructions will be given on arrival, but as a principle you can use all of the house.

When I'm renting out my house it's because I'm away travelling so I wont be bothering you! I will get a friend to hand over the keys to you and set you up, but that's it.
You're more than welcome to borrow my hiking gear and tent if you want to go hiking in the summer :-)
No smoking, no wild parties, no pets. Behave like you would if you were visiting friends.
Born in and raised in Denmark, but have lived abroad most of my adult life and currently living in Greenland, on my 6th year! In my current job position I travel a lot and I need the quiet and comfort of a regular home when I'm away on business and most importantly I prefer to do my own cooking as that is a good way to wind down after a busy day. I often combine my business travels with a few days of vacation in order to explore new areas of the world and relax before flying back to Greenland. I'm a fairly quiet person who enjoys the luxury of reading a good book or watching a film once the day has come to an end.
