My home is your home! Huge windows and an open dining/living room give you tons of space to relax in NYC. Literally next door to the Subway entrance, the commute to midtown is two express stops away. Historic architecture and authentic Harlem vibe. Comfort and convenience!
Grocery, Laundry, Pharmacy, Deli, all directly across street.
For cat lovers only. This 2nd floor, 1 bedroom is conveniently located about 10 steps from the 145th street ACBD Subway stop. It has everything you need to get a local feel for how it is to be a real New Yorker. Bedroom sleeps full-size, and the living room couch flattens to accommodate one or two more. Grocery store, laundry, deli, pharmacy, all across the street. Famous cuisine and culture just a walk away.
Laundry of the towels and bed lining is included. Guests welcome to use all kitchen machinery and utilities. This listing is a deal for those who prioritize convenience and comfort over design and renovation. I've scrubbed it down to the max, but the tiles, fixtures, and flooring are all a little respectfully historical.
This home comes with a low maintenance middle aged feline. She'll love to sit on your lap while you type, or cuddle while you sleep. If you prefer privacy, she won't make any noise if you close her behind the door that separates the bedroom and living room. Subletters in the past have had an easy time with her. She only requires a daily can of food and fresh water. See house rules to decide if feeding instructions are for you.

Please send arrival/departure times when requesting a reservation, or as soon as you can, so I can plan to meet you and let you in your new place. Unless other arrangements are made, check in time is after 4pm, and check out must happend before noon.
I'll be just a phone call away if you have any questions. I will be there to hand off the key or help out at the apartment, or my good friends will provide. Ralph, the downstairs, live-in supa, will be there for any issues, if our landlord is away.
Because of proximity to train, street noise can be heard from front living room. Recommended to close the bedroom door to eliminate noise at night.
Please respect the stuff, and leave it as it was before you arrived. No pets. No smoking. Must provide photo ID at time of check-In. No shoes indoors.
Guests must take out their own garbage and wash dishes. Keep noise down by 11pm.
Unless other arrangements have been made, checkout must happen before noon, and checkin not before 4pm.
Feeding: Rinse her food bowl (she never finishes), paper towel dry, once every day. Give clean water daily in the glass bowl.
AM breakfast (any time you wake) and PM dinner (best right before bed so she’ll sleep in): Half (1/2) can of wet food with 1 small handful dry food sprinkled on top in metal bowl.
Keep open can in fridge with bent lid placed on top to cover food. If you will be away and miss a meal, it’s totally fine to put a whole can in her bowl for the day. Rinse, repeat. Her litter box does not need any attention from you, no worry.
Musician, educator, and soon-to-be scientist. I need someone to stay at my place when my band is away, and somewhere for my band to stay when we're away.
