Tent camping site, includes a Kodiak canvas tent with a bed w/linens. WiFi, solar charging station, fire ring, outhouse for restroom, HOT private solar shower. (Not inside someone's home) Why put up with traffic and crowds at Gouldings or Tribal Park. Horse Tours available. Air Bee & Bee Monument Valley Cooperative Navajo Bee Project Uranium Phytoremediation non profit. Bring ur own tent $25 We cater to Hammock Campers!!!

We have poles that are perfect for hammock camping. We have tents that have full sized beds, with linens, blankets and sleeping bags. We have about four tents here, and awnings for shade, fire rings, fire pits, barbecue pits, we have a communal tent for camper food prep if the winds get high. We have two outhouses, which are waterless composting toilets.

So, the first issue people have is with outhouses. Outhouses save more than 100,000 gallons per person per year in water, and are beneficial to OUR desert environment. Some people are just okay with that. There is a small percentage of people that are completely shocked. We are here to educate and treat people with climate control neurosis, and camping can break you free from that condition!

We cannot control the weather, and everyone needs to remember like the experienced campers know, that if you are renting a tent, you are making a appointment with whatever the weather provides in any area in the world.

On any date, the weather can change in any location, and if you are reserving a tent camp site, you have to factor in the weather. We are listed on Weather Underground which has up to the minute weather from our personal weather station that we provide so that guests can check the weather last minute as they are coming in, or anytime before their trip.

We provide plenty of sleeping bags, and blankets, and we have a campfire ring and that is what every tent camping site in Arizona has without the blankets and tents and assistance.

Please BEFORE YOU BOOK - check the map of all of the listings in the area, all are on the same four way junction by the roads. Any listing that is not on these main roads, are down dirt roads, and there are no places to buy new tires in our region, the closest is 150 miles away. If you want a remote location you need to choose a different listing, because we are convenient to everything and road accessible and that is a plus in our area, not a minus. The remote listings require a drive down a dirt road and should be prepared for that.

The map clearly shows there are only two roads in Monument Valley that all the listings are on. YOU ARE BRINGING YOUR CAR IN AND CONTRIBUTING TO THE TRAFFIC. SO IF YOU DON'T WANT TRAFFIC, CONSIDER TAKING A SHUTTLE BUS. We are a Navajo Community and the Navajo still live here, and so do our families, and expect that you will see Navajo Houses. Thank you.

We have a sweet recommendation for nature lovers who are headed to Sedona-A wonderful and budget way to experience the magic of the red rocks is to rent a tent and camping gear from Tara. She advises people on the most beautiful and free places to camp in Sedona. Here is one of her listings.

Vrijeme dolaska je od 14:00 do 19:00.

Just be natural. :)

1. Only throw paper waste in the cans. Take all other trash with you. Other trash attracts wild and nuisance animals.
If you need a garbage bag we can give you one.

2. Return the solar lights to the table so they may charge for the next guest.

3. Keep the clip on the toilet paper in the outhouse or the paper will fly out with the wind.

4. Do not play with the zippers. If they give you trouble leave it open.

5. Notify us if there is anything you need or if something is wrong with the outhouse or shower.

6. Be aware that alcohol is not sold on the Navajo Reservation. You may drink it if you save one for the hosts. lol

This place is perfect for visiting the Monument Valley. It is located just before the official entrance, and the view is MAGNIFICENT. We slept in a cozy tent, without electricity, but a nice and hot (outdoor) shower was present. The camping light charged our phone, so we were able to shoot some nice photo's. A large tent containing all necessary stuff like cutlery, soap, etc.. was available for us. A BBQ, campfire and some stars really made our night!

All of the listings are on the same road. There are only two paved roads in Monument Valley, and most of the Navajo live on those two roads. So there's a cultural disconnection between our reality and whatever it is you are expecting. We do not have tire stores, for 100 miles. If you break down, or your tire punctures, you will find it very difficult to get any service. Also there are no street addresses on the Navajo reservation. Therefore there is no 911 or Emergency Services. Again, cultural disconnection, from us as Navajo People, as if you have an emergency no one would be able to find you expect on the main two paved roads. Gouldings Lodge, has the same road. The campground is next to the road, and no one expects it to be any different than what it is.

Yá’át’ééh, this is Jenna, with Zhane and Libby and we are the first Airbnb listing here in Monument Valley with excellent reviews by Airbnb guests. Because we were the first to list we have the most experience in making airbnbers happy. We provide a connection to local Navajo neighborhoods and culture.

We have a community bee project far away inside Narrow Canyon, for phyto-remediation. But close to the tribal park, we rent tents and hogans, with others in our family, and share the space we have, with guests who visit the Navajo Tribal Park. We are convenient and accessible to all the activities in the park, and the grocery store, gas station and area attractions outside the Tribal Park.
