Converted Chestnut Mill nestled in an olive grove in the Tuscan hilltops with swimming pool. Perfect for walking, cycling holidays & simply relaxing! Easy drive to Lucca, Siena, Florence, Pisa and the coast.
Stay at Moscatino for £350 per week or from £55 per night (nightly rates vary depending on season).
Moscatino is set in a secure and secluded area, nestled on a hilly woodside in and amongst terraced olive groves.
Beautifully rustic house available for holiday lettings - modern conversion of a chestnut flour mill.
Upstairs - double bed and shower/WC. Downstairs - modern open plan sitting room and kitchen with wood burning stove.
Terraced area outside with table and chairs to make the most of al fesco dining under the Tuscan sun.
The house is set on the woody hillside in a truly picturesque location. Surrounded by terraced gardens including a swimming pool to be enjoyed by guests (which is also shared with San Moscato)
Moscatino is set within its own grounds, adjacent to San Moscato which is also owned by us and available for holiday lettings. Moscatino has a terraced area outside with table and chairs to make the most of al fresco dining under the Tuscan sun.
There is a swimming pool on the property, which is shared with any guests staying also at San Moscato (larger house which accommodates up to 9 people).
Because the house is fairly remote we advise that guests have a car, although we have known of a couple of previous guests who have relied solely on public transport (the house is on a bus route), but personally we find this too restrictive!
Moscatino is located to the side of the drive from the main road and there is parking to the side, just above the house.

The keys for Moscatino are held by the Lunardi family in the local village (a couple of minutes drive up the road from Moscatino), and guests will be provided details of where to collect the keys prior to arrival.
If guests have any queries or experience any problems they can speak to the lovely Lunardi family at any time during their visit. The family are Italian, but have two daughters who speak good English.
We are based in UK but always very happy to speak to guests at any time before or during their stay to ensure that any queries are answered and they have the best time at Moscatino.
There is a small bakery in the local village (Pariana) with limited opening hours, and shops and local amenities such as supermarkets, pharmacy, bakery, bars, restaurants and gelateria in Collodi, Ponte Al Abate and Pescia - all of which are 10-20 minutes drive from Moscatino.
We can provide some further equipment if you need it, e.g., baby travel cot so please get in touch if you have any specific needs and if we have it we will lend it!
Pescia has a clothes and fruit market each Saturday morning.
We ask you to respect our property and treat it as you would treat your own place. We want you to enjoy your stay with us, but please leave the house as you found it - the lovely Lunardi family will give it a clean and change the bedding for our next guests.
