Josh was a great communicator, always replying promptly to queries. 24 hour check-in was also very much appreciated, as we arrived in Sydney at 8.30am!
The apartment itself is spacious, as described. Amenities are also as described, though I made the mistake of not realising that there was no air-conditioning (totally my fault, the listing is accurate), which made for a hot and sticky early March stay! There is one fan provided, however, which may give some relief from the heat. If you are bothered by the heat, I probably wouldn't recommend this apartment for a high-summer booking! Being on the top floor of the apartment block doesn't help. But to reiterate, this was my mistake and no fault of Josh or the listing! :)
The one disappointment for us was the overall cleanliness of the apartment, though I should add that I have high super high standards! There were crumbs on a couple of surfaces, particularly the kitchen, and also on one of the bed side tables. I feel as if perhaps the images of the listing make it look a little better than it is!
Access to the apartment is great, and very easy. Josh kindly left 2 sets of keys for us, which was very handy. As well as this, a bottle of red wine and block of chocolate were a nice touch, as well as fresh milk in the fridge!
The location of the apartment is good, being a 3 minute walk to the main shopping area of Double Bay and the Intercontinental Hotel (if you have a function to attend). The shops have some great cafes and restaurants to eat at, and you are practically right next door to a Woolworths and Dan Murphy's!
The nearest train station is around a 10 minute walk!
