Dear Taryn ,
What happens out of my property is beyond my control. I am very sorry that you had that bad experience.
The wifi was down that day, and fixed the day after. For administrative reasons, which we just discovered that day. You should have been a little bit more patient.
The apartment was cleaned 2 days before. Additionally, there was a cleaning lady that was supposed to get ready the apartment, but you did not notify your arrival time, so we did our best. Anyway, the cleaning could have passed again after the check-in.
We are still looking for the key. Thanks for this.
The deposit of 100USD is written in the house rules. The aim is (precisely) avoid irresponsible people to run away, break things or loose keys.
The rule, as written in the listing, is to reimburse payments if the cancellation takes place 5 days before the check-in. It was not the case.
There is nothing about A/C in the property details, so there is no reason to mention that in the review. We did not promise any A/C.
I really encourage you to read the house rules and listing policy before your next trip with airbnb.
