I am sorry about the confusion around the check in, I was held up due to personal issues and could unfortunately not contact you or be there on time.
Chris is my life and business partner, we are both managing the property on behalf of Alan, the owner of the property and not involved on the day-to-day of the rental. Therefor he was unaware of your arrival but will always check with us regarding any guests arriving and has informed Chris as such. Chevonne is our new PA and she is properly briefed on the property and the check in procedure.
We do stipulate on the listing that a credit card be available for any possible breakage as a deposit which was what you had to sign. We also need all information for security reasons and your own protection, which is not always provided through AirBnb.
The credit card details are shredded straight after the inspection is completed and the property was left as found at check in.
