Located in the heart of downtown Durham and all its great culture beats! Just steps away from Durham Performing Arts Center, the 21c Museum Hotel, Carolina Theater, American Tobacco, Durham Bulls Stadium, and the popular restaurants that Downtown is known for.
Located in the heart of downtown Durham, this light-filled studio features a high ceiling, large windows, two skylights, hardwood floors, original art and an open living plan. There is a washer/dryer and an intercom service connected to the front and back door. A full-size bed within a loft in the apartment and an excellent queen-size sofa bed in the common area (the mattress is very comfortable). A parking pass is included for the lot directly behind the building so no need to worry about finding parking.

I will meet you at the apartment to give you the keys and parking pass. I’ve lived in downtown Durham for 12 years and will be happy to answer any questions about the area and give suggestions on restaurants and other hot spots. I will give you my phone number so you can text or call if you need anything.
The full- sized bed pictured in the ad is a loft within the apartment. The built in ladder, pictured by the bathroom, leads to that loft. There is a large rice paper shade over the opening of the loft space.
The second bed is a new La-z-boy queen sofa bed. I upgraded the mattress and it truly is the most comfortable sofa bed mattress I've ever slept on.
The loft is quiet. The walls in the building are well insulated so I rarely hear my neighbors and you rarely hear loud noises from the outside at night. During the day, you'll hear a low traffic noise, however it's minimal.
A dog occasionally visits, however he is never on any of the furniture and the floor and rugs are thoroughly cleaned after his visits.
- Please, no smoking and do your best to leave the space as you find it!
I am an artist, meditator, public speaker and social justice activist. I authored a book of paintings and stories and I am currently working on another. I love to travel and meet new people. I have gone across the United States in a bio-diesel powered bus with other peace activists, and, again, on my own with my dog companion and a car full of books.
