Cinque Terre Stylish is a new apartment located at 3rd floor of an old classic building of early XX century. It features a spacious living with 2 double soda beds (140x200 cm), a big bedroom with king size bed + single bed, a kitchen with table for 7 and balcony, a spacious bathroom with 2 washbasins and double size shower.

If you arrive by CAR: please communicate your the expected arrival time, notifying ON TIME any delay. Then please call once parked next the apartment so we will move to the apartment in few minutes

Davide's apartment was perfect for young travelers and is great when you want to live like a local. I wouldn't suggest it if you don't want to walk 3 flights of stairs up to the apartment (although that's part of the charm) or if you don't like hearing screeching trains (we liked it because we were so close to the train station so it was really easy to explore cinque terre and we kind of liked the sound) overall I would definitely stay again because the apartment was really well done thanks Davide!!

Our experiences with Airbnb have been very positive-with a heavy heart we write this review, out of obligation to our fellow Airbnbers. It took time to carefully comb through this region to find the right place for our vacation. We wanted: Outdoor space/balcony Good location A/C Elevator/lower floor At 10:00pm the night before check-in, Davide communicated (similar to another reviewer's experience) that there had been an unexpected electrical issue at our selected apartment. He wanted to "upgrade" us to a better apartment with more A/C and panoramic views. We were concerned at that late hour - there was no time to book elsewhere. While sensitive to Davide’s predicament, we had concerns. Davide always answered respectfully, but perhaps without full disclosure. We asked about the location near the train tracks, noise, balcony, etc. We felt pressured to accept, because we didn’t have another option last minute. While the apartment inside was well-furnished, comfortable and trendy, the building and surroundings were dreadful. The building was decrepit. This wasn’t an area we were comfortable walking in, nor would we consider it a "typical Italian" neighborhood. The apartment was located right off the train tracks. The sounds of the traveling trains were ok, but the train’s screeching brakes day and night were excruciating. For us, the noise was unbearable -it was impossible to get used to that grating, piercing sound. It ruined the trip. We noted that another guest mentioned the lack of available towels. We asked for more at check-in. Davide was hesitant and reluctantly left towels for one additional person, two days later. The apartment we originally reserved was on the ground floor, with an outdoor patio, table, chairs, including a docked boat on the water. The “upgraded” balcony was over the train tracks, so we couldn't sit outside on the balcony or leave the windows open at all, due to the noise of constant brake screeching. Davide neglected to mention his "upgraded" apartment had no elevator (and no mention was made about the promised docked boat after switching our apartment.) The “upgrade” was 72 steps up, no elevator. With physical issues, this kept me either upstairs or on the street more often than I had planned. The bottom half of the promised "panoramic" views were of train tracks and the associated run-down, surrounding neighborhood. One of the A/C units made loud, intermittent clicking noises, even when turned off. There was no peace. This wasn’t a proper substitute for what we originally booked. Due to noise, we slept very little while staying in La Spezia and weren’t able to enjoy the outside unless we walked far from the dilapidated apartment building. Davide was always courteous and usually responded promptly. He has clearly developed a business renting out multiple apartments. Unfortunately, in this case, the result was not the more typical Airbnb experience of a friendly local sharing his/her home with you. Our experience was negative. We lost our vacation and our money on this one.

Hello guys, thanks for your stay and review! I am a bit disappointed by your review, but truly not surprised :) ----- The issue at your original apartment was formalized with document to Airbnb. For this reason we had no penalties for the couple of other cancelation for the same original apartment of yours, and we wouldn't have one if you decided to cancel. So there wasn't been any pressure -----The apartment is the same area of your original one, at 100 meters. It's the area next the train station, with higher concentration of hotel and holiday apartment. It's the 1st time that some guest tell they felt uncomfortable. I suppose this is due to some personal reason of yours ----- Lift is not flagged in the amenities of this apartment, that's the reason why I didn't tell you. For the same reason why I didn't advice you that you were not going to find a patio, a spa, a solarium or everything else. Sorry to ask you: you said you had a phisical issue and you didn't check or ask if the apartment you were renting had a lift? That's incredible more then the the rest ---- Building is not luxurious, but surely not "decrepit". It's a classic italian medium level building, of early XX century. i think you found it "decrepit" for the same reason that you found unsafe the area ---- The boat trip was an extra service (160/180e, if available) for your original apartment like for the new one. Mine the apartments, mine the boat. No reason to don't offer the extra service for one of the apartment. Why you didn't ask for that? ---- The number of towels provided and included in the price is advertised (1 big + 1 medium for person). I can't do nothing more then tell that before the booking, and bringing more, sorry. ---- You asked me about the balcony before accepting the swap and I told you that was enough spacious or comfortable to stay outside "seating and reading a book" as you asked to me. Once again, I couldn't do more then that, sorry --- I said the apartment is panoramic because you can see not only the trains racks that you mentioned, but also beautiful hills and the sky, that you couldn't see on your original apartment, that had only windows upon an internal courtyard. I meant that for panoramic, not "sea view" This apartment has 9/10 vote in the most popular hotel website, other then great review here, and the yours is the only negative one. I am sorry for both.

The host was very kind about our late check-in, even though we did have to pay an extra fee. The apartment was very nice and comfortable and the location was perfect. However, the wifi did not work the entire time we were there, I let Davide know but I guess it couldn't be resolved. Also, the hot water would run out very quickly. Other than that our stay was fine.

Thanks for your stay and feedback Adriana! About wifi you are right, the provider stated a local issue and they didn't fixed on time for your 2 nights stay, sorry! I hope the mobile 4g router provided was enough. I am surprised about the hot water because the apartment has a gas boiler (not an electric one) so it produce instantly no limit hot water!

Appartement propre et joliment décoré. Proche de la gare très pratique pour partir aux cinque terre et à pise. Bien sûr il y a le bruit des trains mais on s y fait bien et il n y a aucune autre bruit dans l immeuble. Hôte à l heure pour notre arrivée.

Il padre di Davide è stato molto gentile e disponibile. L'appartamento è situato a due passi dalla stazione e autobus, quindi molto comodo per chi vuole visitare le 5 Terre o andare a Portovenere. Inoltre è completamente attrezzato e può ospitare molte persone. Unico neo il passaggio continuo dei treni che anche con le finestre chiuse si sente, ma purtroppo è il prezzo da pagare per chi vuole stare vicino alla stazione.

Excelente estadía! El departamento está impecable, las camas ricas, la cocina muy equipada, el baño increíble. Esta muy bien ubicado y la disposición muy buena.

I began the job with my private apartment here on Airbnb on 2010, while I was doing some else on my life. Then I discover to love this job and I founded Downtown srl, with base in Rome. Times are now really changed in this market from 2010, when on Airbnb we were few hundreds owners. Actually there is a huge offer of thousands of place of any sort of kind: not professional managed (but nether familiarly), with no authorization, out of control, tax free (for the hosts but not for you). We are really glad to be able offer something else but main part of competitor on Airbnb, today maybe much important: safe legally licensed places, but still distinguished by an own personality, like my 1st place was, due to my personal love for Interior design and art.
These 2 features make our apartments far from the most of others on the web.

Anyway the places we rent are still "private apartments" anyway, so we strongly believe in communications between host and guest, on mutual flexibility, comprehension and respect of rules, written or not. An apartment is not a room of a chain of hotels, where traveller easily know what expected. An apartment has not a 24h reception and has not somebody arriving at the door in 1 minutes in case of need. An apartment necessarily has its strengths and weaknesses; it reflects personal taste, personality and choices of who designed and manage that: somebody that you didn't know, born and living in another country, anyway considering travelers needs and international common standards to make your stay a great experience.
This is made possible by an experience of thousands of bookings, still managed personally by me.
