This house is no longer available for air bnb. I am struggling to work out how to take down my ad so until I do I'm going with this approach. Medium size bedroom in a homely terrace house in Newtown, one of the most vibrant suburbs in Sydney. One minute to cafes, restaurants, bars, and awesome shopping. 5 mins walk to train station, 1 min to buses, 10 mins to CBD.
Here is a little bit about the great things I can offer you in this Air bnb experience in Newtown Sydney. My house is on one of the nicest streets in one of the most vibrant suburbs in Sydney. Newtown is a buzz with cafes, restaurants, fantastic shopping AND has an awesome night life - with many pubs and lovely small bars where the music scene is very much alive and well. Just strolling down King St will have your ears feasting on some of the best musicians around just busking on the street. There is also an active artist community with plenty of small galleries to check out.
My house is a cosy one and a nice place to hang. It might possibly be considered ' shabby chic' in nothing but the most positive sense - If you are looking for a place that is homely with lots of unique character - full of retro furniture, interesting knick knacks and cool art on the walls - over a sterile/Un lived in 'ikea' feel, this is the place for you...
A bit about me and what I will be providing as a host -
I will be offering you a room and a lovely homely house in a fabulous location - 1 minute from great pubs and bars, shopping and transport.
I am often busy with work and socialising - im out of the house a fair bit SO you will need to have a level of independents - when Im at home I tend to be fairly quiet and keep to my self in my room mostly BUT I will often be up for a chat as well and happy to provide some of the 'local knowledge'. On occasions ( sometimes spontaneous) I have friends over for a few drinks and music/ sing along nights. They are always fun, AND anyone is welcome to join in. Is possible they can be a little rowdy at times BUT I AM always mindful an considerate of others when it comes to noise...
My home is your home...
There are SO many great places in Newtown to eat and get coffee etc so I wont be providing meals as such but you are more than welcome to use the kitchen to cook and put any food stuff you like there.
I look forward to being your host.
The basic common courtesy applies - be mindful that you ARE living with others. leave things as you found them ( no need to make the bed on depature tho) try to be reasonably quiet especially if coming in late or leaving early and try not to slam doors ( im a tad sensitive to sudden loud noises)
