Cozy, quiet, atop a hill, at end of cul-de-sac. Awesome views. Stained glass windows. "Anniversary Room" has a double bed; "Animal Room" has a day bed, which converts to two twin beds. 50-inch TV. WiFi. Large concrete deck. Flagstone patio with two small ponds. Four-person sauna. Tree house.
Our home was originally built as a small, one-room cabin in 1936, with no power or water. Through the years various owners have made renovations. We bought it in 1982, and in 1988 began a major addition which includes a 480 sf solar collector, new family room, a second level and a loft, which is the master bedroom suite and office. We have been invited to participate in the National Tour of Solar Homes four times, due to the uniqueness of our solar heating system.
Two bedrooms are available with shared bath. Common areas include: living room, family room, large deck, patio with two small ponds, enclosed tree house, solar green house with a sauna, and 15-ft diameter above-ground swimming pool (Jun - Sep).

In most cases we will be on site and available to answer any questions or assist in making your stay as comfortable as possible.
We expect our guests to treat our home as theirs. There are several antiques throughout the house, which are meaningful to us, and, hopefully will be enjoyed and respected by our guests.
My husband, Mark Miller, and I are enjoying active retirement. Mark was a structural engineer and I worked in several capacities: marketing and sales for the Gray Line of Colorado; owner/operator of a secretarial service and a mail order business; medical transcriptionist. Mark is an accomplished and admired stained glass artisan, and has created over 150 unique stained glass projects. I enjoy counted cross stitch embroidery in the winter, caring for flowers in the summer, and cooking and entertaining all year long.
