There's a large lounge with wood burning stove for the winter months incorporating dining area with a separate rustic kitchen. The kitchen was designed and made in Peters Workshop in Africa and shipped over to Spain, especially for the house.
From the lounge there are double doors opening onto wooden decking, with views of the undisturbed valley below.
The house is quirky, unique and very different to anything you may have seen before. It has appeared on TV and in magazines for it's originality.
An “African Stoep" ( covered Patio) with twisted railway- sleeper beams artistically incorporated and an 6 seater hot tub, opens onto an elevated wooden deck, of 80 meters in length. The deck is built around protected 100 year old Carob (Chocolate bean) trees and covers the whole outside area of the apartment. A rustic swing-seat for two is situated near to the ¨water tree¨. This tree gives shade and privacy to the shower which is hidden within its branches providing fresh cool water to the user on hot summer evenings. There's also a wooden dining table, with bench seating, for a romantic candle-lit dinner giving views of the valley below and the surrounding hills with the twinkling lights of distant villages.
n the deck there is a comfortable seating area in the shade provided by the Carob trees where you can relax in tranquility. The melodic tinkling bells from the passing goat ´orchestra` may break the sound of silence (if you are lucky) once or twice a week.
There is safe private parking for 6 cars, with access to the main road just meters away.
The local village of Canillas de Aceituno, which boasts at least 9 tapas bars and restaurants, is only 4 kms. away and the delightful sandy beaches of Torre del Mar is a mere 15 mins drive.
There are two spacious stylish double bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom suite, each with private entrance to the terraces.
If you wish we can accommodate another single bed in the "ginger room" at a charge of Euro 10.- per night .
There is also a large hot tub outside on the main deck.
Then there is a comfortable seating area in the shade provided by the Carob trees where you can relax in tranquility.
The guests of these double bedrooms share a living and dining area with a Rustic kitchen it was designed and made in Peters Workshop in Africa and shipped over to Spain, especially for the house.
There is a wood burner for the cool autumn, winter spring evenings, that keeps the downstairs warm and snug.

Peter has been a designer all his life:
With passion and never ending creativity he designed "Anything" from Furniture to candelabras and finally houses.
He did all this during his 35 years in South Africa.
When he arrived in Spain ten years ago, he really got excited when he purchased ruins and then converted them into very unusual houses.
But he wasn't content with only designing and planning the houses he physically worked with his own hands over many years on the actual building sites in the blazing sun.
Now Peter has another passion : Being a host.
He admits: It's great fun and fascinating, meeting people from all over the world.
He lives happily alone with his cat "Roma"
