Beautiful little home in French village, Akaroa on Banks Peninsula. Just over an hour way from Christchurch, this fantastic home is perfect for anyone who appreciates historic architecture and wild gardens in quiet little villages.
The house itself is set on over quarter of an acre of wild garden. All the main living is on the ground floor with double bedroom off the lounge while the cosy upstairs area boasts two comfortable single beds. There is a shower-over-bath next to the laundry equipped with washing machine and large tub. The kitchen is open to the dining and living rooms with an open plan feel leading to space with table and chairs outside. There is a stunning verandah around the main bedroom which gets all the delightful morning sun for breakfast out the front and afternoon sun on the day bed round the side. Available, should it be required is also a wood burning fire.
The entire house and grounds are available, with the exception of a small room off to the side which was originally a small store attached to the house which is used for storage and is not accessible to guests.

I am based just over an hours drive from the house but I am usually always available and should be able to meet almost all guests on their arrival to meet, give keys and explain a little about the area.
The village is by no means a party area, but can still be enjoyed to the fullest but anyone who visits. The house is older and therefore needs to be treated as such. Some pets are welcome on arrangement prior to stay. Please feel free to use the outside space, but be courteous to others staying around you noise and time wise.
