I am semi-retired and have worked in education, publishing, non-profit and community theater. Born in California, I've also lived in New York, New Jersey, Missouri and Washington. My loves are storytelling, writing, music (yes, a folk singer from way back when!), reading, the arts, road trips, old movies, camping and providing hospitality. I had the thrill of a lifetime recently paragliding over Glenwood Springs! Am currently working hard to improve my Spanish and to complete a 7-year book project. In addition to three grown children and five grandchildren, I take real delight in building relationships with foreign students through the Colorado State University International Friends Program. Have survived earthquakes and a lightning strike (yes, for real!). An warm heart, open mind and generous share of curiosity keep us in love with life. I look forward to making your stay a most pleasant one.
