THINK OUT OF THE BOX, VACATION IN THE ROUND
Set in an old apple orchard in a private corner of the farm, yet in walking distance to restaurants and other amenities. This unusual dwelling is ready for the adventurous spirit.
Our two acre farm, situated on an old Gravenstein apple orchard near Luther Burbank’s historic Experimental Farms in Sebastopol, a mile from town center. We are so close to town yet it seems further out in the country, surrounded by trees, chickens and horses.
The yurt is a nice retreat from civilization, a glorified tent with kitchenette, hot and cold running water, an outside shower, and bathroom with compost toilet, an eco-friendly getaway that feels close to nature, because it is. Set apart from our house, the yurt is very private, with sunny deck and 200 ft long private path from parking area.

Kim and Chris moved here 25 years ago from San Francisco and Mill Valley with our 3 children, followed soon by Kim’s mother and lately by a grandson. Four generations sharing the joys and hard work of having a small farm, raising chickens, fruits and vegetables. We like to travel and use airbnb when we can, had some great adventures doing so.
