This historic 1930's house is completely updated with modern amenities, but is still as charming as the English cottage style it was designed to replicate. It's located in the friendly, tree-lined neighborhood of Land Park, one mile from downtown.
The house is built by "Squeaky" Williams. A well known and beloved architect in the area, who built around the 1930's. His houses are often in an old English or German style, with whimsical and old world quality details. It is well insulated and fully air conditioned for the warm summer weather, and heated for the winter chill.
There are 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen, a living room with a dining area, as well as a bathroom, 2 halls, and a basement with laundry machines. A small patio in the backyard with chairs for enjoying the cool summer evenings. We are very close to the Sacramento River, and get the famous "Delta Breeze" in the evening, on hot summer days.

Barbara lives next door, and Katrina lives a few blocks away, so they are both nearby to help with anything that might come up during your stay.
We only allow 3 people to stay at the house at a time. We are happy to consider a flea free pet, or possibly two. However, due to the extra cleaning involved to return the house to a fur free environment, we ask an extra $25 be added to our pet visitor's stay. We will adjust the cost in your reservation. There is off-street parking in front of our garages (see map inside house), as well as unrestricted street parking in front of the house, and all around the block.
We have beautiful vintage oak floors throughout the house. Please do not drag suitcases across the floor. The house is not child-proofed so children should be supervised when visiting. Flea free pets can be considered, however that's on a case by case basis. So please ask before having them inside the house. Smoking is allowed outside only.
My daughter, Katrina, and I have lived in this wonderful neighborhood for most of our lives. I used to run a local sightseeing company and love to host visitors from out of town. Katrina and I share the hosting of the house. I live next door and she lives a few blocks away. We are both close by to help with anything you might need. Katrina has also been the concierge at another airbnb downtown for 1.5 years. She has well over 50 excellent reviews, and has risen to "Superhost" status. She's enjoyed it so much she convinced me to join the airbnb family. We have the perfect house for it.
We are both lovers of animals and music. Katrina plays accordion and I love to dance. Which is where you'll find me many nights of the week.
