In beautiful Herefordshire countryside, a comfortable double bed awaits. There is a shower room for the sole use of the guests. The room is at the bottom of a traditional Herefordshire hop kiln, overlooking the small woodland garden. A large lawned and flower filled garden plus a large cider apple orchard is fully accessible for guests to enjoy.
The home is owned by a photographer/writer and an artist so your visit will be a feast for the eyes as you enjoy their unique home. The bedroom is located on the ground floor with a step down into the space. One wall of the room is taken up with a massive window which looks down the garden - an avenue of silver birch trees. The house is a registered small holding, with over 3 acres of garden and an old orchard full of damson, cider, cooking and eating apples. In season guests will be able to have fresh fruit from the garden for breakfast.
The guests have exclusive use of a shower room and toilet - just a step away on the ground floor. Large bath towels and a smaller hand towel is provided. In the room there are tea and coffee making facilities so guests can make a cuppa to have in bed. Breakfast - cereal, toast or croissants with home made jams and marmalade is provided in the kitchen by the hosts.

The hosts will always be on hand to help guests with any information about the area or other details to make their stay more enjoyable. However, the hosts will not intrude upon the guests and sleep upstairs so privacy is maintained for both hosts and guests.
The hosts have 2 well behaved dogs - Scotties, and a ginger cat. Parking is available on the gated drive which must be shut at all times because the dogs will wander!
The Wifi code for the house is provided but please be aware it is a slow signal because of our countryside location - downloading films is not an option but normal browsing is ok. Please tell the hosts if you have any problems with the signal as resetting the hub usually sorts things out.
Because we have our own dogs and a cat we have to say no additional animals please.
Our house is a no smoking zone.
I have lived in Herefordshire for many years and believe it is an undiscovered gem. I share my house with my lovely life-partner Archie Miles, a writer and photographer, and our 2 dogs and Eric the cat. Our children are grown and flown so having the space now, we thought it would be good to share this great part of the world with others.
