We are now Super Hosts and want to celebrate that with you by hosting you in a superb way. We are on a quiet, leafy street close to the Lakes and the main streets too. It is arty, comfortable, full of light & air; third floor walk up to your air conditioned room and a dining, drawing & office room to enjoy. We love people and feeding them. We not only give full, varied breakfasts but frequently offer meals (often free). Our passions are books, art and culture and offer a city you will love.
We operate ONLY through Airbnb we will decline all who try to book any other way.
No same city guests.
The guests should inform in advance if there is a late night. The gates close at 11 pm and guests are strongly recommended to keep to that time.
Please avoid checking in after midnight or before 6 am.
The info and pictures of our home should suffice, please do not appoint people to check our place before or after reservation.
I am a publisher of higher academic books in English and translations from French and other literatures in Bengali. I am also a voluntary community worker in the field of drug rehab and other health issues.
My husband and co-host Rono is a documentary filmmaker.
I have a passion for reading crime thrillers, having written many such tales in my younger days in magazines and in books. Rono is more interested in non-fiction biographies.
We love meeting people and having 'addas' where like minded persons chat so much over cups of tea and great food.
We are foodies, Rono eats everything, I prefer greens and we love feeding creative cuisine to our friends. We are - Bengalis but our tastes and perspectives are global.
