Comfy studio with great morning light. Easily fits two people who sleep in the same bed comfortably. Step outside to a fancy corner store, great coffee and ice cream, a yoga studio, laundromat and craft beer bar all just across the street.
You'll definitely feel like a Brooklyn local staying here. Nothing is fancy but everything is in good working order. The bed is super comfortable and there's a kitchen table that seats four. After running around New York all day you'll love coming home to a quiet apartment and feeling at home. The apartment is in the back of the building and overlooks several well appointed Brooklyn Brownstone backyards which provides a nice view to wake up to and keeps the apartment quiet. The only missing piece is TV. I know! But if you bring a laptop you can hop on the wifi and snuggle up with some Netflix.
There's not a ton of space but you can enjoy what is here. The closet next to the bathroom is filled to the brim with all kinds of toiletries (toilet paper, nail polish remover, cotton balls, bandaids, etc.). Feel free to use whatever you need. Just leave a note if you use the last of something. Of the two closets at the end of the hallway, the closet on the left is basically empty and filled with hangers should you need them. The closet on the right (with the full length mirror) has some of my clothes in it and is off limits. Please be respectful. Feel free to read any of the books on the shelves. I am a sex educator so some of them are pretty interesting. Just try your best to put them back where you found them. There are tote bags hanging on the coat rack that you can use if you run to the corner store or Farmers Market.

I'll always be available via text in case of emergency or if you just need a restaurant recommendation.
Please be respectful of the neighbors. This is a quiet building and the neighbors shouldn't be able to hear your music or TV after 9:30pm.
No smoking. No pets.
Wash all dishes and leave them in the drying rack before you leave. No need to put them away.
Leave the sheets on the bed and hang used towels on the back of the bathroom door. I'll take care of everything when I get back.
I'm really funny. And I swear a lot. Can't help it. Learned it from my mother.
I don't like to cook. I can. And I do (mostly popcorn) but just enough to feed myself. That said, my apartment will always have olive oil, coconut oil, butter, salt and pepper, and Siracha and you should feel free to use it. Plus, I'll leave you a list of great places to eat in Brooklyn and Manhattan.
I play bocce on Sundays at a bar with some of my favorite friends and we drink bourbon based bloody marys when the weather turns cold. Most likely there will be a few beers in my fridge and a bottle of mid-level bourbon on the counter.
I sing loudly when I'm home by myself. And sometimes when I'm with other people. Every once in a while I hit the right note.
I care a shitload (oops, there's that swearing thing) about the work that I do and, depending on what you do, about the work that you do too (assuming, of course, that what you do makes your tiny corner of the world a better place).
I rock dresses most of the time but I love a good hoodie and jeans.
I keep my place neat and clean but I don't take spills or stains too seriously.
