It has a woodstove and electric heat for winter and is ready for relaxation or can be a starting point for hiking, cycling, skiing, rock climbing and other outdoor adventures
You will have access to the entire church. There is a log house adjacent that can be also rented if you require sleeping arrangements for more guests.

I will be available by phone or text and will have a local person available in case of any need. access will be arranged in advance and someone can meet you at the door.
Please let me know what outdoor activities you like in advance. I have a few mountain bikes and there are outfitters who can take you hiking, rock climbing, canoeing and kayaking on the Beaver River. The hiking trails adjacent to the church are the jewels of the Bruce Trail system. There are caves nearby to explore ( see Duncan Crevice Caves) The best skiing in Ontario at Blue Mountain is 15 minutes away and you can park on the top of the hill and ski down to enjoy the resort. There are great restaurants in Collingwood, Thornbury, Flesherton all in the 15 to 20 minute range away.
I would like you to relax and enjoy a wonderful property. You can expect beautiful sunrises and sunsets from this remote and beautiful property. The stars and moon are extremely clear so bring your telescope if you have one. Please bring your sense of adventure as there are many exciting and interesting things to do in the area. Pets are allowed. Dogs especially. Smoking is not permitted inside and be respectful of the character of the buildings if you do smoke outside as they are old and made mostly of wood. The woodstoves are not toys and can generate a lot of heat. the door of the stove must be closed at all times and children are not to go near it. It gets to over 400 degrees very easily. There will be instructions on the use of the stove and it is imperative that they are read and understood. Otherwise it throws off beautiful heat and makes the church very cozy.
