Private room in my 3 bedroom/1.5 bath condominium in the residential "Pleasantdale" neighborhood of South Portland. Back door opens onto the Greenbelt walkway section of the Eastern Trail network.

2.5 miles from downtown Portland and the Old Port. Close to the airport, beaches, and scenic lighthouses. Just a few minutes from Southern Maine Community College and University of Southern Maine. Two hours from Boston, Bangor, and the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
Portland is well known for its awesome restaurants, shops, and waterfront attractions. Besides the nearby Maine Mall area, with its retail chain businesses, Portland is has a strong local community committed to supporting its own commerce.
South Portland bus service runs by a couple of blocks from here 6 days per week to Portland and the Maine Mall - about once per hour. Also close by are the Jetport, Concord Traiways, and Amtrak.
I have on-site parking.
I have met a lot of interesting people and I look forward to hosting you.

I love Maine and the outdoors! - hiking, camping, bicycling, walking, kayaking, etc. I love to read, write, socialize and spend time with my adult children. I travel a lot, but mostly by car. I love to cook and eat interesting foods.
I love Portland Maine for all of its restaurants, the sea, the islands, its laid-back way of life, and its proximity to the White Mountains, the uninhabited North, Canada, and Boston.
When I travel, I always stay at an AirBnB. Both traveling and hosting have enabled me to meet lots of interesting people. I look forward to meeting many more.
I am not fancy and neither is my house. It is clean, casual, and in proximity to downtown Portland and the lighthouses in Cape Elizabeth.
