We live in the main house, behind the white garden door to your left when facing the front door. We are here to welcome you on arrival, answer any questions, help with ideas of where to go on day outs, good local restaurants and pubs, or for those who like to cook, where to go to buy the finest local ingredients. Either ring the door bell of The Old House or email or sms and we will be on hand to help out.
Check in - after 4 p.m.
Check out - 10 a.m.
Although we aim to be as flexible as possible regarding check in and out times, however, during busy times we ask guests to take note of these times. If you wish to stay beyond check out time, please just ask us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
There is sufficient parking for two cars, and these are parked at guests own risk. We cannot be held responsible for guest's cars, or their contents.
We also cannot take responsibility for guests personal possessions while staying at the Coach House.
We feel the coach house is only suitable for older children (12 years and above).
Please do not leave lights on all night and when leaving the house - we do try and be as green as possible.
The house is in a quiet residential area, so we would ask our guests for courtesy at all times and not to make too much noise when coming home after an evening out.
The meadow is the start of fabulous walking territory and there are plenty of footpaths off it, but beware of the farm animals that may be grazing.
This is a no smoking property and we ask that guests do not smoke in the house - and if they do smoke outside on the patio please do dispose of cigarettes in the ashtray provided.
No candles to be lit inside the cottage.
Very important, If you need to use the clothes dryer please ensure that the lint is removed everytime as build up can cause fires, and that is not left on while the ground floor of the house is unattended. The water tray needs to be emptied regularly.
On departure before 10 am please return the front door key to the hosts, or leave in front door lock.
Guest's vehicles and personal possessions in the car and in the house are their own responsibility and care should be taken to ensure they are left securely.
