The apartment is our family's holiday home, so we have set it up for our comfort and relaxation, and hope that you will enjoy it too! Situated in a quiet and elevated street, our home away from home is on the ground floor of a small block of six units. The swimming pool is in a sunny position, with an umbrella, chairs and sun lounges on a wooden sun deck, for the private use of guests in the building. Our garden and neighbourhood are green and leafy, with many native trees and birds, and each morning we wake to the sound of bird song.
One of the things that we love most is to relax on the balcony and have a drink while watching the stunning sunset, which is different every night. Bifold doors and windows in the living room open up to the balcony, where you will find a sensational view of the mountains, river, hinterland and sea. Recently we have installed new, modern balustrades, so the view is even better!
Perfect for families, couples and friends, our apartment has two spacious bedrooms. The main bedroom has a good quality, orthopaedic queen size bed, and ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has two new long single beds, with the option of zipping them together to make a king size bed. Let us know when you book whether you would like single beds or a king size bed in the second bedroom.
Our beach home has recently been fully renovated. The living area and kitchen are spacious and inviting, with a large dining table and chairs for a family meal or entertaining. Our kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, no matter how long your stay. Our new appliances include dishwasher, fridge, oven, cook-top, microwave and Nespresso (pods) coffee machine. There is a good stereo, so bring your iPod!
Our apartment is fully air conditioned, with reverse cycle air conditioners/heaters and ceiling fans in the living room and both bedrooms. On hot days, you can do what the locals do! Open up the wide bi-fold doors and rear bedroom windows, allowing a fresh breeze to flow through the apartment. Our new, very quiet ceiling fans are effective in circulating the air and keeping you cool. On rare occasions in winter when Noosa is not as warm, the heaters are very effective in the living room and bedrooms.
We have two bathrooms, each with shower, vanity and toilet. Both bathrooms and the laundry have been recently renovated. Our main bathroom has a new, full sized bath/shower, great for the kids or for a relaxing soak after a long day at the beach, plus vanity and toilet. The ensuite bathroom has a large shower, vanity and toilet.
During your stay, you will have access to the pool and sun deck. There is secure off-street parking for one car, situated under the building, and ample on-street parking. There is a clothesline outside the kitchen for communal use. The gas BBQ on the balcony is for the exclusive use of our guests.
