Located on the 15th floor of South Beach's trendiest new Condo-Hotel development, with a private entrance on 24th Street. The apartment has a full frontal view of the Atlantic Ocean from every room and its 200 sq.ft. terrace. The guest room has two exposures and a beautiful view of Indian Creek.
The furniture and accessories are all high-end European brands - Ligne Roset, Natuzzi & Flou. Beautiful tropical plants in stylish planters adorn the interiors and the balcony.
The Living Room is spacious with a large welcoming upholstered sofa, 2 Walnut armchairs, a beautiful blue-colored glass coffee and C-Tables. The rug is hand-woven wool with blue details. The 65-inch Samsung 4K Smart HDTV is ensconced in an amazing walnut and white lacquer composition.
The bar cabinet lies between the Living & Dining spaces and has beautiful Italian glassware and barware.
The Master bedroom is a full suite with a lovely king-size bed from Flou made of walnut and upholstered details. The Walnut bedside table and TV console beautifully complement the bed. A beautiful walnut-framed mirror gives you a breath-taking view of the ocean as you step back into the apartment from the balcony. And if you can't leave the world behind, catch up on the news and your favorite shows on the 55' Samsung HDTV.
The bathroom is almost as large as a bedroom! It has two sinks, large sink-in tub, a full stand up shower and of course, a toilet!
Storage space comprises a walk in closet by California closets which has details like double hanging, coat hooks, and electronic safe and laundry hamper. The other closet allows for hanging long dresses and jackets.
For those who must attend to business matters, there is a little alcove with a beautiful walnut workdesk with an overhead tasklight. The apartment has 2 WiFi connections.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, cooktop, oven, microwave and dishwasher. There is quality cookware from Cristel and plenty of plastic and glass food storage containers.
In the dining area adjacent to the kitchen is a beautiful walnut dining table that seats 8 on 4 chairs and a walnut bench. The fun dinner set designed by Paula Navone and steel cutlery serve upto 8 people.
The oak-n-white guest bedroom is my favorite! It has an incredible view of the Atlantic Ocean from a large floor to ceiling window and of the Indian Creek from 2 small windows. The beds are Queen size and can accommodate upto 4 people. The large walk-in closet built by California Closets has drawers, hanging and shelf space. The guest bathroom is en suite and has a shower. The beautiful cabinet in the bathroom has 2 more drawers and a laundry hamper.
There is a half bath for your visitors. In the utility cabinet are extra bath linen for the Master bedroom and powder room; cleaning equipment and supplies like Dyson vacuum, Swiffer, mop, plunger, cleaning cloths, glass cleaners, refill for the hand soap dispensers etc.
The apartment also has a washer/dryer and I have some basic laundry detergent for your use.
There are some limitations on guests staying less than 30 nights. Room service is on a cash basis. You can order and pay for room service by cash or credit card at the time of delivery.
There is a $40 daily resort fee, which gives you access to the hotel's amenities, such as the 4 pools, gym and children's playroom.
Valet Parking is chargeable.

Most importantly, please treat the place with love and respect. Everything is brand-new and carefully selected.
Please do not:
- Place items on the walnut Dining table without a mat or a trivet. Keep the plastic table cover on at all times
- Sit on the sofa, chairs and beds with wet clothing
- Change diapers / nappies on the sofa
- open cabinets and drawers with gentle hands and do not slam them shut. They have very good mechanisms built into them and they shut with just a nudge.
- handle the blinds and drapes (curtains) with care. Ask Andrea for a demonstration when you first come in.
- wipe your feet on the doormats when you enter the apartment from the balcony.
Note that you can access amenities such as the gym only when you stay 30+ nights.
Honor system must prevail! If you break or damage something, please let either me or Andrea know immediately.
If you like something, let us know and we could help you buy it.
Please take care of the keys. They should be returned to Andrea at the time of departure. Failure to do so or losing the keys will cost you $150.
A few requests:
- The sun comes in strong from the East in the Living room. We request you to close the blinds for those windows at night till you require them to be open the next day. There is a black & white throw that can be used to cover the parts of the sofa exposed to the sun.
- Please water the plants twice a week.
- Please keep the air-conditioner on as far as possible.
- Definitely close all windows and doors and set the AC to 72°F/22°C each time you leave the apartment.

The apartment at the Decoplage is a deliberate effort to surround myself with all things tropical. I took great care to make sure that each piece of furniture and accent was from its historic place of origin and not a cultural rip off.
In doing up the new condo at The 1 Hotel & Homes, I pulled all stops and bought the best of the best in design and quality from some of my favorite stores - Ligne Roset, Natuzzi, Flou. The emphasis is on luxury and comfort.
I am a design junkie and take great pride that both homes are entirely my creations, with some priceless inputs from my loving husband, Kurien.
We both love art, design, music and of course, Miami Beach!!
