With its high ceiling and spaciousness there is a real sense of being in a fine Edwardian home.
Access is gained through a private front door of the street. There is a veranda by the door which is a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the views across the Camel Estuary, to Rock, and as far as Bodmin Moor.

We live upstairs with our dog Asta. Guests are welcome to ask us for tips on where to go and what to do in the locality.
There is parking for one car to the rear of the property. Guests are recommended to unload at the front, where they may like to park their car when the town is quiet, close to the apartment entrance. But if it is busy - especially in high season - there is space for one vehicle at the back, approached by the pavement to the side of the house.
From May to the end of September The Red House Apartment is bookable for a mininum of a week at a time; three night weekend breaks during the ‘low’ seasons to be negotiated from £350.00.
No smoking. Only one pet that must not be left alone and unattended in the apartment. Dogs can become distressed left alone in an unfamiliar environment. We can recommend a dog sitter if required. Owing to the steepness of the front garden we ask guests, especially those with children, NOT to step on the lawn. It is steep and we can't be responsible for people ignoring our recommendations. There are two perfectly safe and private terraces. Access to the Red House Apartment is gained via a serious of steps to the front door making it difficult for anyone with mobility issues.
We don't allow bicycles inside the apartment but there are secure places to chain them up, out of sight, on the front terrace.
