The house and room are located very close to Opua/Okiato car ferry. The room is located on the upper floor of the house. With view of Opua harbour and ferry landing. The room is part of a shared house where two people are living permanently. The facilities like shower and bathroom are shared. The kitchen can be used on request. A microwave, fridge and water jug can be used in the shared kitchen.
We are located Okiato, site of the first capital on New Zealand. In front of the Opua small harbour and marina. The room is overlooking the Opua Harbour. Bed lineal are provided.
You can access the garden, bathroom/shower, toilet, balcony and deck. Ask about storing food/drinks in the fridge or using the microwave.

There will be mostly someone who live in the house during your stay. Otherwise instruction about access will be left before arrival.
We are on water tank, please limit water consumption during summer and try short showers. Please turn lights off when living the room or bathroom/toilet. For sustainability reason please limit the recharging of electronic devises. Thank you!
We are a non smoking house. Most of the house residents are early starters, please avoid loud noise after 10pm. We are vegetarians and piscetarians (we do eat fish).
HI. I'm a Swiss-Kiwi. Living in Okiato, Russell, Bay of Islands, New Zealand.
I love nature and gardening. Previously owned a life style block in Hokianga where I tried the organic permaculture methods growing all sorts of vegetables and fruit.
I like animals, I had cats and dogs and had experience taking care of goats, cows, chickens, ducks and gees in my previous life.
I enjoy travelling. I have family in New Zealand, Switzerland and France. I enjoyed travelling Europe, particularly Italy and Spain, I have been to India twice, Bali, Australia and the USA, and made stop over's in many other city's.
I am an avid movie watcher, book reader and music listener. I enjoy good company of friends.
