This is a lovely, two bedroom apartment (100m2) right on the Maas river in Rotterdam's Lloydkwartier. It has a large terrace looking over the water and tons of light. It is close to city center but in a quiet, peaceful area with everything you need!
This 100m2 space has two bedrooms, a living room/dining area, large kitchen, and full bath including a shower and a bathtub. The best part is the large terrace which looks out on the water. Full length glass doors in each room provide a lot of light and an open feel. To be clear, this is a space that is my home and that is lived in. I have noticed there are different types of airbnbs: sterile apartments that are furnished but non-personal, and homes where all you need to bring yourself because it is a lived in space. Mine is the latter. While of course the apartment will be very clean and ready for your stay, you will see belongings like books, kitchen spices/oils, etc. If this bothers you, this is not the place for you!
Regarding the bedrooms: the main bedroom as a bed that is 160cm (with only one mattress, so no split) and is very comfortable for two people. The second bedroom has a bed that pulls out with two separate 80cm mattresses for a combined size of 160cm. You can take a look at the photos for more detail.

You can contact me at any time during your stay should you need any advice on things to do, places to eat, etc.
I live in a building that is quiet and full of responsible people and some families with children. Therefore, if you are looking for a place to party all night, it would be wise to stay elsewhere. :)

Welcome to my listing! I am an expat from New York who is living in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. I've been here for over two years now, and I am proud to call the Netherlands my home. Working for a large multinational company, I am often traveling around the world and love visiting new places. When I can, I go home to see my family in New York, whom I miss very much.
When I travel for fun, I love to really get to know the city or destination. Where do the locals go? What would it be like to live there? That's why I love Airbnb. I am happy to provide as many recommendations as I can to you for your visit in the Netherlands, or even the rest of your trip in Europe if you are doing a multi-destination tour. I've been all over the country, including to our National Parks!
