You have your own private hut who you can closed with a key. There is a matress for two persons with a mosquito net. Next to you hut is the hut of my mom and childeren and its is close to the bathrooms (seperate for men and woman) You get a bucket of water with a cup to bath (we dont have shower)
For toilet we go to the bush, but when thats a step to far for you you can use toilet in our neighbour house. My sister Atika wil prepare 3 meals for you.

When you like you can participate with my familiy in daily life. Like cooking with my sister or go for play football with my brother Ali.
When you like to know more about our culture you can do different workshops in de village as visit the Chief, make our local snack kuli kuli and be witness to our traditional baby washing. Also you can meet our fortune teller also known as soothsayer. you can also go with my mother and brother to the Tamale market.
There are available share taxi in the village to the city (10 min) When you like to go to the city with bicycle (25 min), the people are so sociable and you can get a borrow bicycle from the neighbours . There is also a swimming pool close to the village, with taxi is 15 minutes drive.
Tourist may contribute to the happy life in the compound, they should feel home with the local people and always ask when they need something in the compound, you should feel home and contact with the house members.
My name is Mubarac Nindow. I grew up in a traditional society in the northern( Tamale ) part of Ghana called Sognayili. In my family, we are 18 in number in which my father marriage to 3 wives, but with my mother side, we are five in number, two boys and three girls. I worked as a tourist guide after my high school in my village and in other attraction places in the city. I move few months ago to live with my dutch girlfriend in Holland. Now I participate in Western culture, I experience of the difference my self and is it more a wish to show more people or other Ghana traditional culture . My father who is a vice chief in my village and my brother Ali is also very good in receiving guests and bring them to attraction places wherever the guests want. They will welcome you warmly to share our family life with you and do everything for you what is nessasary to get a nice African experience.
