If you are looking for a homey retreat near the water, as I did , this is the rental home for you. Sunrise beams into the kitchen and onto the back deck and sunsets out the front window. Michael is a very involved host who strives to make your visit comfortable and enjoyable.
My family had a wonderful time! The house was more then enough for three children and 3 adults we had plenty of room and were close to the beach the beach badges worked out wonderfully the vista from the beach was the iconic picture of the jersey shore experience. The view from the deck in the back was lovely, the out door shower the best! we used it all the time we were there. You can crab off the docks right down the block out the front door. Loved the location. Not far from all sea side has to offer. We made so many memories and hope to make more next time.
Michael was a great host, letting us stay just one night since it was before his week long rentals started. Everything needed was included. The air conditioners were excellent. The house was rustic country, reminiscent of my grandma's, however upgrades to faucets, showers, speakers for music, and comfy living room furniture made things very cozy and convenient. The view of the causeway and homes along the marina was nice, along with sunset and sunrise views. The back deck is spacious with a large picnic table and includes a view of boats docked behind it. Six beach tags is a great perk. Just a few blocks from Seaside Park Beach Headquarters, bathrooms and parking lot, $2 an hour. Beach tags $10 a day. I would not walk to the beach unless you travel light with just a small bag and towel, we always have coolers, cabanas, chairs etc we usually go to Island Beach State Park, but the state unexpectedly (for us anyway) closed its beaches indefinitely starting July 1st! So we made it for June 30, and went to Seaside Park on the 1st. One thing I did not plan to use since we only stayed one night, but think would be nice is a grill, especially for a week long stay.
Tacey, I'm so glad that you had a great time and thank you for the not only the wonderful review, but for treating our home as your own. I'm sorry you did not realize this, but there is a grill in the backyard on the north side, opposite side as the shed, on the sand. The town rules do not let us put it on the Deck. If you have an opportunity to stay with us next time, please make sure to use it. I'm sorry about IBSP. The joke about Gov. Christie having the place to himself for the weekend have been endless. There are a lot of upset people. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and thank you for staying with us.
