You'll have a full apartment on a beautiful tree-lined street.
It's off of the lively Vanderbilt Avenue, seconds away from cafe's, shops, grocery stores, restaurants, the Brooklyn museum, Prospect Park, and Grand Army Plaza.
It's one 1 block from the Q/B + 2/3 trains, and easily walkable to Park Slope, Fort Greene, Cobble Hill, Crown Heights, and 20min to lower Manhattan.
We have a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room, office area, + light filled bedroom.
This is our home, we love our place (and we think you'll love it to) so please take care of it well while we're away. Thanks! :)
Please do not:
-smoke in our apartment
-bring pets into our apartment
-bring a large group of people into our apartment
-have respect for our neighbors. Our building is very quiet and polite.
-take care of our belongings and leave them how you found them.
-leave our space tidy.
I live in Brooklyn with my boyfriend. We'd love to find great people to live in our home while we're away!
We're lindy hop dancers, so we have a record player with some great jazz and bluegrass records. Plus, we keep our apartment de-cluttered so we have enough space to dance around in the living room. You're encouraged to do the same. :)
We usually cook more often than we eat out. Use our kitchen to cook your meals or try the AWESOME restaurants (in any type of cuisine you can think of) near us.
Almost every weekend we walk or bike to Prospect Park (it's a 5min walk to Grand Army Plaza where the fresh green market is every Saturday morning).
We also check out the Brooklyn Museum (10min walk) and go see plays + movies at Brooklyn Academy of Music (15min walk). Plus, in October, the Brooklyn Flea (a warehouse-wide artisanal flea market + food cart fair) is a 15min walk away as well.
We're not so sports-y, but if you are, we're also a 10min walk away from the brand new Barclay's center with sports event and concerts.
Headed in the city? We're right next to the Q and 2/3 trains, which both get you to 14th street in about 25 minutes. These are GREAT trains and very reliable for late night traveling too (which can't be said about all NYC trains!).
We've been told our apartment is very homey, warm, and comfortable (we think so too), and really, the location can't be beat if you're into the Brooklyn vibe.
Ready to mingle with some Brooklynites while you sip on a locally grown-something-or-other in a mason jar? This is for you.
