This bright and stylish one double bedroom flat is situated on the 5th floor of the Empire Square contemporary development that was built in 2007. The apartment is laid out with a combined sitting room and kitchen, from which the bedroom is separated by a pleasant hallway, which provides a good amount of separation and privacy in someone is using the sofa bed. There are amazing floor-to-ceiling windows in the bedroom and living room/kitchen that really open up the space and provide a good amount of light. The windows lead out to two south facing balconies with an aspect onto Tabard Gardens. As mentioned, there's a comfortable sofa bed in the living room that can accomodate 2 more people.
There's a full kitchen with all the usual modcons for you to use at your leisure. The apartment also comes with full TV (with SkyTV) and free wifi. There's also a washer and dryer for your use.
Empire Square is located only 3 mins walk from Borough Tube Station and London Bridge (Tube and National Rail) is a further 5 mins walk.
Despite its central location the apartment is very quiet. The place is in a great area, being just a few steps away from The Shard and Borough Market. It's also incredibly safe and there's great tube access.
There is a Gym which you pay as you go and a local supermarket within the development.
If you are arriving at the flat after 2200 and before 0630 the inner square will be closed. The entrances are still in use but can be easily accessed from the outside of the square.
I usually stay In the apartment Monday evening to Thursday morning which makes it homely but clutter free (I leave that in my home in Oxford!) It is therefore available every week from Thursday night to Monday morning, but please enquire if you need a day or two on either side as I'm very flexible and will try and accomodate you. Key collection and drop off is usually between (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) but if pre arranged I can organise collection outside these times
