Located on the Vancouver Airport hotel strip (Bridgeport Road), this private, ground-floor apartment in a character home is ideal for layovers as well as longer term stays.
Access the skytrain to downtown Vancouver or walk to one of several restaurants in the neighborhood.
We want to welcome you to your new (temporary) home with a small jar of honey from our own beehives. The honey is collected form the wild flowers growing in British Columbia.
Windows face south and east, making the space feel light and airy.
Travelers looking to stay close to the airport will enjoy the convenience of the location. We are only 7 km away; travellers can hail a taxi or take the skytrain.
Parking is availble on the property, at the front. Head down the driveway and look for the door with the word "welcome" on it. Use the key-code (we will provide) to let yourself in. This is a private entrance.
We do offer laundry facilities on the premises, but the washer and dryer are shared with us. Let us know if/when you would like to use them and we will make the laundry room accessable to you. To avoid disturbing our guests, we make sure not to do laundry late at night or early in the morning; we kindly ask our guests to do the same.
Because of our proximity to the airport, there will be some traffic/airplane noise, however this does tend to die down at night.
Out of respect for our other guests, please observe quiet time between 11pm and 7am.
Because we do not charge a cleaning fee, we kindly ask guests to wash and put away their dishes before check out. Thank you!

Although fairly new to home-sharing, I've enjoyed working in the hospitality industry for many years (at the front desk of several local hotels, as a flight attendant as well as helping my mom with her bed-and-breakfast as a child). Today I work part-time as a teacher-librarian and help out with our family's bee-keeping operation. Hosting airbnb guests is possible with the help of my husband and two great teens (a math addict and an artist)! I speak German fluently and our teens could probably communicate with our French guests.
