Our spacious studio is attached to, but separate from, a busy farmhouse. Horses welcome! Guests have their own private entrance and parking. We have chickens, pigs, sheep, cattle and horses on the farm. We are down a quiet lane between two woods, 1.5 miles from Tilton on the Hill.
A large modern and airy studio flat, containing a double bed, sofa and armchairs. Separate bathroom (bathtub and shower), fully-equipped kitchen and storage. Views over open countryside. Big Freesat TV, DVD player and WiFi included.
The Studio has its own entrance off the stable yard. Private parking. Once inside your own door, it is up the carpeted stairs to the living space.

Fresh eggs and sausages or bacon produced on the farm are waiting for you in the fridge, with fresh milk, bread, butter and jam. If you don't want the sausages or bacon please let us know!
Fresh coffee, teabags, sugar and other cooking essentials are in the kitchen too.
We can offer suggestions for walks, cycle rides, local pubs & restaurants, places to see and things to do and where to eat out. Otherwise, this is a place to relax and enjoy the silence of the countryside.
Stabling and straw are available for an additional £30 per horse per day if you want to explore the excellent riding in the area or are involved in local sport or competitions. We can advise about hacking on the doorstep.
We do allow a dog, but only if it is well-behaved and 100% safe with poultry and cats. There are two shoots in the neighbourhood and we cannot permit any dog to stay which might disrupt this. Please check in advance.
Because we have animals on the farm, we cannot take bookings from guests with a pet until we know more about it.
This is not a blanket ban, but we cannot allow any dog or cat which is aggressive, over-timid, incontinent or not under control at all times.
So, if you have a cat or a dog, please send me a quick description and we will get back to you swiftly with a response.
Our check in is 5pm because we cannot promise to be here before then, BUT if you want to arrive earlier, please let us know and we can make arrangements to leave the key in a safe place.
Part-time farmer and countryman through and through. Father of 4 with a little one (5) still at home. My wife and I look forward to meeting you and showing you how special this rural corner of Leicestershire is.
