I can not find any words to describe how lucky to stay here. It was a 6 weeks stay, and I alway felt I am welcomed. The best part of my stay was not about how good the property is, how tastey mama Jane's food is, or how I feel safe with the neighborhood, it was about the lovely family. Upon my first day there, mama Jane (the host Jacqueline's mom) said "you are my son here, let me know if you need anything", making me feel like home immediately. Victor, who takes care of the house and maintenance, is also very kind, teaching me Swahili, although I still can only say "thank you, welcome, or I'm happy". Andrew, Jacqueline's brother, showed me around and took me for grocery shopping. Finally, Jacqueline is so amazing, always energetic and hilarious! I will miss the time that I chatted with mama Jane in the morning and evening, and danced with Jacqueline. What a wonderful memory!
Short but amazing stay! Jacqueline and her family were amazingly welcoming and made my working trip very comfortable. I was confronted with a cancelled flight, but communication went really smooth before arrival. I was in Nairobi for a training in nearby Korogocho and Jacqueline helped me settling and finding my way upon arrival. During the weekend, we had the time to spend some time with the family, which was really cool. They are all great, warm and very interesting people. Probably one of the best places to stay in Nairobi, highly recommended!
Jacqueline and Victor were great. When I couldn't find the place Victor, who manages the property, came and met me at the nearby Naivas and rode with me to the house. The house was beautiful and clean, and when recent weather trouble in Nairobi took the internet down, Jacqueline came to the rescue and quickly got it restored so I could go about my work at home. Thanks for everything guys, had a lovely stay!
Our stay with Jacqueline and her family was absolutely amazing. After the first second Mama Jane adopted us in the family and it was very easy to feel like home. We where in Nairobi to buy some last things for our car and she had a lot of helpfull information for us. During the weekend we got Jacqui`s small car to drive into the city, instead of driving with our big landcruiser. We where overwhelmed by the hospitality. In the end we had to stay two nights longer than booked in the beginning and it was no big problem. When we finally left, Mama Jane and Jaqui gave us a lot more helpfull tips on our way. Thank you all for this warm stay in the big city!
Jacqueline, her mom Jane, and sister Naomi are such a warm, welcoming, friendly family! I love staying with them. They quickly make you feel like family! What a comfortable home and awesome family! The house is secure, there is parking, and they are amazing hosts. This is my favorite Airbnb in Nairobi!
