We are the second generation innkeepers at the Brampton Bed and Breakfast Inn. This is a picture of my wife Rachel in the middle, our innkeeper Rita on the left and myself on the right. My parents started the inn in 1987 and I have been working here on and off since then. My wife and I and our daughter Abby moved back to the area in early 2016 and took over the management of the inn last February.
Brampton is a magnificent 19 century manor house beautifully restored on 20 acres. They don't build them like this anymore. Besides offering comfortable and elegant accommodations we also provide exceptional food at breakfast and tea time.
We are located a mile outside of the historic arts and entertainment center of Chestertown. Chestertown is the home of Washington College, the 10th oldest school in the country, and the only school George Washington gave his name to. Yes, George slept here :)
Life is good on the Eastern Shore. Come on over for a visit and see for yourself!
