Walking distance to Edge Hill Village restaurants & shops. We are located at the top of a hill so having a vehicle would be advantageous for the long stays.
Beautiful large deck overlooking the Rain forest and city, you can see the city lights from the bed in the main bedroom. All linen is new, with comfortable bed toppers and new pillows to make your stay even more comfortable. We have traveled extensively using AirBnB and we have noted and included some of the special touches we enjoyed on our stay. Shampoo, conditioner, soaps, bath towels, beach towels, tea, coffee, milk. We love the ice maker at this property especially on those hot days.
We have three bedrooms. One master suite overlooking the deck and city, a queen room with block out blinds for those who like it dark and a multi coloured kids room with 3 singles and one double. There is a full laundry room with washing machine only, we do not need a dryer in the tropics and this room has a clothes line all under cover. Internet is now included at this property, Austar / Foxtel. Stereo with Bluetooth connectivity, water cooler filtered water.

We will meet you at the property when possible, this property is an easy care property and easy to access and use. We are contactable by phone and have someone in Cairns who can assist you if required. We want you to enjoy your stay without being hassled by us.

Check In / Check Out
Properties are available from 1:00pm and are to be vacated by 11:00am – Alternate arrangements can be arranged should it be necessary. Please contact us.
As part of our quality service, all our properties are thoroughly cleaned and tidied ready for your arrival. In return, we ask that you respect our properties and leave them in a suitably clean and tidy condition.
BBQ - Please clean the BBQ after each use. We provide BBQ cleaner / pads and scrubs under the kitchen sink
SMOKING: Ashtrays are provided, however we ask you respect our rules and smoke outside, additional cleaning charges may apply if you smoke inside
RUBBISH - Please remove all rubbish (newspapers, magazines, cartons) from the property. Place in the outside bins provided. The council empties rubbish bins from the street on Wednesday morning.
WASHING DISHES - Please place all used and dirty dishes, pots and pans in the dishwasher and run through on departure if you have time please put away into the kitchen storage cupboards.
LINEN - Place all used towels, sheets, pillow cases, tea towels down the laundry shoot before you leave the property. Please leave the mattress protectors, blankets and doonas/duvets and pillows on the beds.
DAMAGES/BREAKAGES - Notification of any breakages, loss, damages or maintenance must be reported to the Owner/Administrator immediately. Any associated costs are required to be paid on demand to the Owner/Administrator. The Owner/Administrator will accept no responsibility for any inconvenience with machinery/appliance breakdown.
The Owner/Administrator will best endeavour to repair, replace or hire an alternative.
KEYS AND REMOTE CONTROLS - Please ensure that all keys and remote control are left at the property on departure. A charge of up to $250.00 will be charged to your credit card within 7 days of your departure if locks, keys or remote controls are to be replaced.
POWER - In order to preserve our fragile environment, will you kindly turn off all lights and air conditioning units every time you leave the property, we are not charging for these items to be left running 24/7.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS - loss or damage to your personal belongings. We recommend that you buy a quality travel insurance product that will cover any such loss incurred.
TOTAL NUMBER OF GUESTS - The number of guests should not exceed the number stated on the final confirmation or subsequently agreed in writing. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the Owner/Administrator in advance. Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial.
Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use of the property contrary to this will result in additional charges. Disturbance to neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental.
My husband and I need to move to Brisbane for a while to be closer to loved ones. We love to travel and we have hosted many international guests in our house over the years, however we have decided to open our home to guests visiting Cairns as we feel this is a very special place and want to share this with others.
