My place is close to the city centre & to great neighbourhoods with amazing dining/nightlife and a great central base to explore. You’ll love the house because of the ace location. The space is good for couples/solo adventurers/business travellers.
This is a vegetarian home from home, on a brightly coloured street. The decor is bohemian. There is a an urban garden. The location is 10 mins walk from the city centre and Cardiff Queen Street Station, a 10 min walk and central station 20 mins.
Because this is my home, I've filled it with lots of stuff from my travels and sentimental things passed down from my family. I want it to be a memorable home from home for people, whether that be for one night out in Cardiff or a week for work where you need to chill in the evenings. I like attention to detail and decor that is a little 'out there.' A mix of world decor, retro, Scandi-design and bohemian boudoir. A kaleidoscopic melting pot of decor.
The area a live is arty and multi-cultural. Loads of places to eat and drink within walking distance and lovely parks just 10 minutes away on foot. We have a Portuguese Bakery about 4 minutes away. A giant art shop in a converted church just across the road. An incredible middle Eastern eatery and a vegetarian restaurant just 2-5 minutes walk away. A circus space just across the road where you can do a class if you fancy it - city living at it's most diverse and wonderful. A very famous Welsh band front woman turned 6 Music DJ used to live on the street. There are also great pubs close by for watching sports or drinking pints.
I am vegetarian and I have decided to keep my home vegetarian. I'll provide a simple, organic breakfast for people to cook for themselves with local sourdough bread and eggs. I love food and put on popup suppers by night. If you require picnics or would like your own supper club in the house, that can be done with a little notice!
You will have access to my entire home, or individual rooms are available when I'm there. Please just contact me and we can arrange that.
As this is my home and my only property, I ask that you treat it with the love you would your own home. Please smoke in the back garden and keep the front and back doors locked when you're in the house and when you're out (they are flat-style doors). Take shoes off at the bottom of the stairs and don't chop on the worktop - you know the drill! Just common sense stuff to look after the place.

As much as you want me to! I work in arts and events as well as dabbling in food and can pretty much let you know all of the cool stuff to do in and around Cardiff.
There is car parking outside, but as with any city centre it is busy. My street is definitely one of the quieter roads though and there is often non-permit holders spaces near to my house.
This is my home, and my only property, so I only accept guests who have positive reviews from other hosts (or someone within your party needs a positive review - and they can book). I would like guests who stay in my house to be observant of not cooking or bringing meat and fish into my home.
No shoes on the carpet upstairs. No chopping on the worktops (just use a chopping board).
No house parties. Don't keep the neighbours up until 5am. You know the drill. Treat this place like you would your favourite person's home.
You don't need to strip the beds, but do wash up after yourselves.
I'll provide some nice organic basics for breakfast, including sourdough from the Portuguese Bakery down the road. Please replace anything else you use.
If you need me, I'm around to answer any questions about my home or about Cardiff during your stay.
