We welcome our Guests and have years of local knowledge of this old rural town and the region, if required. The Macedon Ranges scenic drives, local wineries, weekend markets, historical goldfields and nearby old country towns provide a lot for visitors to see and do while based at our centrally-located accommodation. Fresh local produce and top chefs are featured in many Kyneton restaurants - the closest great restaurant is a stone’s throw away from your apartment. International stars are featured in live concerts at nearby Hanging Rock. Also on our property is a bluestone ruin built by Caroline Chisholm in the 1850's originally for the Registry for Births, Deaths and Marriages. Mrs Chisholm, "the immigrant's friend" had 11 shelter sheds built between Port Melbourne and the goldfields around Castlemaine and Bendigo as a safe overnight stay for traveling gold miners and their families, each one days walk apart. Take a walk around Kyneton to view the outstanding bluestone architecture and history from the gold rush era of the 19th century.
Botanic Gardens and river walk near the Kyneton railway station, 19th and 20th century architecture including the old bluestone hospital, the Mechanics Institute, the various old bluestone churches, the Museum and the stately, colonial private homes and cottages.
Restaurants, cafes, hotels, pizza in Piper Street, Mollison Street and High Street. Promenade on both sides of Piper Street on weekends.
One set of traffic lights in town at Castle's Corner and one push-button pedestrian crossing opposite the Post Office in Mollison Street.
There is a lot or arts activity in town and in the region - visit the Visitor Information Centre in High Street to see what is on. There is a Winery trail with maps at the Info Centre. Two markets are in Piper Street on the second Saturday of each month.
Welcome to Harry's at Destination Kyneton. Please note that we do not accommodate pets and inside the apartment is non smoking. Harry's is suitable for one or two adults and has a Queen size bed. Any loss or damage to the apartment, furniture and fittings is charged to the guests plus a 50% administration fee.

Kyneton has been home for 10 years. Like many other ex-Melbourne residents, living in Kyneton is the bees knees. From this central town location, everything needed for day-to-day life and business is walking distance. Very happy here.
