I am a retired Registered Nurse, my husband Merril is a retired Precasting Foreman.
We are both Nicaraguans. He was born and bred in Corn Island, I am from Bluefields. We've been married for 39 yrs, have one son, a daughter and one grandaughter.
We enjoy hanging out with friends and family, visiting old friends, and love meeting new people. Traveling between the US and Nicaragua keeps us pretty busy.
The home was built in 2001 as a getaway from the daily "hussle and bussle" we lived in the US, and to expose our children to our culture, as we visited during our vacations.
My favorite time of year is Christmas, I go all out with decorating during this time. Reading, listening to music (all types), embroidering and interior decorating are few of my hobbies.
My life motto: I've learned that you shouldn't go thru life with a catcher's mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw something back.......Maya Angelou
I hope to someday be remembered as a generous and charitable human being.
